Motz is a well-traveled Emmy award-winning freelance filmmaker and Director of Photography based in New York City. Over the past 23 years he has worked on many television commercials, feature films, music videos, documentaries, and promos.

In the spring of 2005 Motz completed Hamburger America, his second documentary film which he shot, produced, edited, and directed. The book was written and researched by Motz, includes over 250 of his hamburger photos and is available at booksellers everywhere.

George is also the director of the NYC, Chicago and Charleston Food Film Festivals. They are multi-sensory film festivals where the audience is treated to the food they see on the screen. In addition, George also is the host and co-executive producer of Travel Channel's Burger Land which is based on his book Hamburger America. He lives in Brooklyn, NY with his wife, two children and three fish.
